Healthy 2 Ingredient Pancakes Recipe

With pancake day on the way, these are a great, healthy alternative to the usual sugary treat. 

For these pancakes all you need is:

  • 1 medium banana
  • 2 large eggs


First, break the banana up into large chunks and mash it with a fork into a pudding-like mixture. 



Next, take your eggs and whisk them the egg yolk and white becomes one. 


Now, add the eggs and banana together and mix. 


This is your pancake mixture! 

Place a frying pan over a medium heat and use a small amount of oil or butter to coat the pan. Then, using a ladle, spoon a small amount of the mixture into the frying pan. 


When the pancake has browned lightly, use a spatula to flip the pancake and cook the other side. 

And that’s your healthy, 2 ingredient pancake! Each pancake is around 50 calories- they’re easy, healthy and tasty!

If the pancakes are a little plain for you, try adding chocolate chips or raisins for an extra kick.
