Visit: The Kyoto Garden

I have always liked going to natural places and connected to nature, especially when I’m in London. The Kyoto garden is the perfect place for this. It takes you away from the mania of the city and provides a hidden sanctuary.
The garden is within Holland Park which consists of muddy tracks and wooden benches.

This pond was full of huge fish and the pond-bed was covered with glittering pennies.

The garden also has free-walking peacocks. When we first arrived this one greeted us.

The whole garden had a magical and enchanting feel- it was absolutely beautiful, even in the rain. Take a break from dusty fumes and crammed spaces and spread out in the Kyoto garden, you won’t regret it.
