Over the past year I have started drinking peppermint tea. I love that it’s completely caffeine free, because you can have a comforting, hot drink without the caffeine rush. However, the tea also has many health benefits.
Peppermint tea’s main benefit is soothing stomachs. It’s known to help with irritable bowel syndrome, stomach pain and other bowel issues. It is also known to assist with digestion, relieve nausea and to be a stress reliever.
I tend to have one cup a day, as it helps me with stomach pains and also provides an excuse for a moment of de-stressing ‘me time’.
Peppermint tea has several health benefits and it’s also known to help disguise any, shall we say, ‘less-than-pleasant’ breath. It’s also genuinely nice to drink, worth a try, right?
