Advice to my younger self

Whenever I read people’s advice to their younger self, I can’t help but wish I could ACTUALLY give my younger self advice. There’s a few things I’d say.

1) Don’t be so scared all the time

Do the things you love, do more writing, do more ‘outgoing’ things. Kill your fear, shyness and embarrassment. ‘Feel the fear and do it anyway’.

2) Be more outgoing

Approach people and make new friends every day. You can never have too many. Friends make everything more enjoyable.

3) Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not

You won’t keep up the act of being the ‘giggly girl’, ’emo’ or any of the other ‘phases’ you try. You don’t find true friends until you show the true you.

4) Help your Mom more

She does a lot for you and deserves a helping hand, make sure to tell her how much you appreciate her every now and again too.

5) Don’t take yourself too seriously
