January Motivation

We’re almost half way through the toughest month of the year. You’ve probably given up with your resolutions, are back at work/uni/school and settled back into the reality of things. Christmas is behind you and the summer is a distant dream. To help you get through these next few weeks I’ve shared some motivational quotes to act as a pick-me-up.

“Don’t ever let somebody tell you you can’t do something. You got a dream you got to protect it. If you want something, go get it. Period.” – Will Smith as Chris Gardner in The Pursuit of Happiness

“Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.” – Willie Nelson

“You don’t need to be better than any one else, you just need to be better than you used to be.” – Wayne W. Dyer

“Don’t wait for changes to happen. Make them yourself.” – Hanny van Sleeuwen

“You will either step forward into growth, or back into safety.” – Abraham Maslow

“Every day, just try harder. You think you’ve tried hard enough, but no. You have definitely not tried hard enough.” – overheard at The Washington Post

“If we wait until we’re ready, we’ll be waiting for the rest of our lives.” – Lemony snicket

“Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” – Muhammad Ali

“No one is you and that is your power.” Dave Grohl

“Accept- then act. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it. Make it your friend and ally, not your enemy. This will miraculously transform your whole life.” – Eckhart tolle

“Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.” – Unknown

“Don’t ruin a good today by thinking about a bad yesterday. Let it go.” – Unknown

“Just remember, there’s so many great things in life. You just have to remember to smile. You know, listen to a good song or think of a good memory. Everything is worth it. No matter how bad anything gets. Just always smile.” – Riker Lynch
